Terms and conditions of use

The website and the JOIN2WORK Platform are managed and operated by Pilar Tech México, S. de R.L. de C.V., (hereinafter “J2W” or the “Data Collector”), with address at Insurgentes Sur 1898 piso 3, Colonia Florida, Alcaldía Álvaro Obregón, Código Postal 01030 in Mexico City, to hear and receive notifications as well.

1. Use of the Website.

The Terms and Conditions of Use presented below constitute the agreement between J2W and any User of the Site whose electronic address is (hereinafter “the Site”).

The use of the Site by any person attributes the quality of user (hereinafter the User) and this implies his/her tacit, full and unconditional adherence to these Terms and Conditions of Use in force at the time of such use; consequently, it is essential that the User reads them in advance and evaluate them carefully, in such a way that he/she is aware that he/she is subject to them and to the modifications that may be made from time to time, each time he/she accesses the Site.

The User is suggested that every time he/she uses the services of this Site, he/she carefully reads the Terms and Conditions of Use, since they can be updated or modified by J2W at any time, without direct personal notification to the User. The User may review the updated version of the Terms and Conditions of Use at any time, by simply pressing the Terms and Conditions of Use button located at the bottom of the internet portal

The conditions of access and use of this Site are governed by current legislation in accordance with the territorial jurisdiction in which the service provider is located as indicated in the first paragraph of this instrument and by the principle of good faith being the User committed to make effective use of it. Conduct that goes against the law, the rights or interests of third parties is not allowed.

If at any time the User does not fully or partially agree with these Terms and Conditions of Use, he/she must immediately refrain from using the Site in any of its parts or sections.

1.1 Access and use of the site.

Access to the Site is made through the internet by placing in the browser. Likewise, access to and use of the Site is free for Users. Notwithstanding this, access to the J2W Platform is made through the Site; therefore, in this case, contracting the corresponding license for its use is required (see section 2 of this instrument).

The User will be obliged to register or register on the Site, only in cases in which he/she is specifically requested to do so.

1.2 Objet.

Through the Site, J2W provides Users with access to information regarding the J2W Platform, indicating its description, composition, hiring plans and testimonials.

1.3 Content

The User acknowledges that the use of the Site does not imply any intellectual property rights of any kind over it, any of its elements or Content.

The trademarks, trade names, slogans, banners, logos and photographs used, published, inserted or included in this site are the exclusive property of J2W and protected by applicable industrial and/or intellectual property laws.

J2W reserves the right to modify at any time and without prior notice the presentation, configuration, information, Content and in general any part or aspect directly or indirectly related to the Site.

1.3.1 Obligation to correctly use the site and its Contents.

The User undertakes to use the Site and the Contents in accordance with applicable laws, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Use and with respect for public order. The User undertakes to use the Site and any Content or aspect related to it, in a way that does not harm the rights or interests of JOIN2WORK, of persons linked to it directly or indirectly, or of third parties. The User will use the Site and/or the Contents in a way that does not damage, disable, deteriorate or impair them totally or partially.

1.3.2 Means for obtaining Content.

The User must refrain from obtaining or attempting to obtain information, messages, graphics, drawings, sound and/or image files, photographs, recordings, software and, in general, any kind of material accessible through the Site or its Contents.

Use of the Contents and elements found on the Site may be used only the means or procedures established and indicated within the Site, or, where appropriate, obtaining authorization from J2W.

1.3.3 Correct use of Content.

The User undertakes to use the Contents and the elements used on the Site diligently, correctly and lawfully, and in particular, undertakes to refrain from: (a) using the Contents illicitly, for purposes or effects contrary to the law, public order and what is established by J2W for the use of this Site; (b) copy, disseminate, modify, reproduce, distribute or use in any way for profit or non-profit the Contents and elements used on the Site, unless expressly authorized in writing by ARCH; (c) modify or manipulate the trademarks, logos, commercial notices, trade names and distinctive signs in general of J2W, the Site or the persons directly or indirectly linked to the company (unless you have your written authorization), (d) delete, evade or modify the Contents and elements used on the Site, as well as the technical protection devices, or any mechanism or procedure established on the Site.

J2W states that all the Contents and elements used on the Site are duly registered and protected under the corresponding authorities and laws. The User undertakes to respect all Intellectual Property rights over the Contents and elements used on the Site owned by J2W.

1.3.4 Use of the Site and its Contents under the sole responsibility of the user.

By the mere fact of accessing the Site, the User acknowledges and accepts that the use of it and its Contents is under his/her exclusive and strict responsibility, for which J2W will not be at any time and under any circumstances, responsible for any damage or problem that arises in the computer equipment (hardware) or computer programs (software) used by the User to access or navigate in any part of the Site.

1.3.5 Responsibility for content.

For cases in which content attributable to an author other than J2W is published, they are the sole responsibility of the author or authors of such information; therefore, J2W is not responsible for them.

1.4 Use of services.

The User is prohibited from publishing illegal, threatening, slanderous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous or pornographic material, or any other material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under the terms of the applicable law.

Any comments posted should be written in friendly and respectful language and be related to the service or product being commented on. In this same sense, the User agrees that he/she may not impersonate another person or entity, enter false, altered or distorted data causing error, confusion, misunderstanding or deception, so he/she may not falsify or manipulate identifiers to hide the origin of any content transmitted through the services.

The User accepts that he/she will not be able to publish personal data of other people different from him or herself, because if he/she does so, he must be responsible for compliance with the applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data.

The User accepts that he/she may not publish commercial information, personal preferences or, in general, material contrary to the laws that protect intellectual property.

J2W reserves the right to remove any content, comment or reference contrary to what is stated above.

1.5 Obligation regarding the use of the Site.

The User undertakes to strictly follow any instruction given by J2W or by personnel authorized by J2W that is related to the Site, in reference to any mechanism or procedure established to use the Site and its Contents.


The User is responsible for any damage and/or loss of any nature caused by breaching these Terms and Conditions of Use or any applicable regulations, for which J2W is released from all civil, criminal, administrative or any other liability.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in the event that J2W is sanctioned or convicted by the competent authority in any procedure related to civil, criminal, administrative or any other type of liability, it will notify the responsible User, who must pay J2W the amount to which it has been sentenced to cover, as well as the costs, fees and other expenses incurred, within 15 (fifteen) calendar days following the notification. In case of overdue payment within the indicated term, the User is obliged to pay J2W for conventional penalty, an amount equivalent to the principal.

1.6 Content sent by Users or third parties.

If a User or Third Party chooses to publish or send any type of content on the Site, only for the sections that are public to any person and not restrictive, such as the use of the J2W Platform in accordance with number 2 of this instrument, which may consist of photos, videos, texts, the author agrees to grant J2W the universal, irrevocable, non-exclusive and sublicensable right to the material, as well as the license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, create works arising from the original, distribution, execution and presentation of such content (in whole or in part), to incorporate it into another work in any form, means, or technology now known or later developed. In the event that the User does not agree with what is stated in the preceding paragraph, he/she must refrain from sending content or material.

When submitting articles, files or any type of information for publication in any section of the Site, only for the sections that are public to any person and not restrictive such as the use of the J2W Platform in accordance with number 2 of this instrument, the author or the person who does it is granting express permission to J2W to spread it in the section of the portal for which it was sent.

J2W is not responsible for the information published by the user in the forums or in any other space of the portal. Any violation of copyright that a user makes will be the sole responsibility of the offending user, under no circumstances will it be the responsibility of J2W.

1.7 Denial and withdrawal of access to the site and/or the Contents.

J2W reserves the right to deny or withdraw access to the Site and/or the Contents at any time and without prior notice, on its own initiative or at the request of any person, to any User for any reason, including without limitation those Users who misuse the Site, any of its parts or sections or the Contents, or who breach all or part of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

1.8 Links to third party sites.

J2W could enable access to other Internet sites through “links”, whose inclusion on this site does not compromise our thinking or our actions, nor is it responsible for the content and administration of any of these links. The fact that J2W enables access to such sites does not mean that a situation of subordination, control or economic linkage is presented or structured between it and the owners of such sites.

2. JOIN2WORK (J2W) platform

J2W is a collaborative platform that allows:

  1. ​ Recruit teams anywhere.
  2. Manage and perform payroll cost analysis.
  3. Allow the consultation of payroll receipts.
  4. Remote vacation management.
  5. Administration of activities by objectives.
  6. Creation of work community.

J2W enables its users to communicate, collaborate and create in a secure and accessible cloud-based virtual software environment (the “Services”), which is provided through the Site; therefore, all of these “Terms and Conditions of Use” are also applicable to you. The solution is made up of various functionalities and they are described in a general way through the Site.

The content provided by users within the Platform will only be shared with users who are previously authorized according to the Platform’s roles and permissions configuration.

J2W can offer the use of the Platform through the website and mobile application and this will be governed by the same “Terms and conditions of use” indicated here.

The license of Products will be subject to the terms of the applicable end user license agreement contained in the instrument in which the provision of the service is formalized.

By accessing and using the Site, its Services, downloading or purchasing the Products, you agree to be bound by and accept these “Terms and Conditions of Use”, as well as all the terms and conditions contained and/or referenced in this document and additional ones established on the website.

2.1 Costs and hiring of the solution.

The costs of the Platform are indicated on the Site:

  1. “Free Trial”. The scope of the Plan includes a Free Trial with a scope of one user for 1 (one) month and with access to the modules that are specified on the Site.
    To activate such plan, the User must click on “Free trial” or “Start free trial” and
  2. “A la carte.” The user can hire one or more of the modules indicated on the Site.
  3. The Site will indicate the cost and currency applicable to the price of the services offered. If the applicable currency is not indicated, it will be understood that the price will be in US dollars.
  4.  The contracting of the Platform may be made through the Site, or through a representative of J2W.
  5. Once the Plan to be contracted has been identified, the provision of the contracted service will be formalized, through a legal instrument that allows identifying the conditions to which the contracting party and the contracted party submit, making such instrument an integral and complementary part of these Terms and Conditions of use.

2.2 Features of J2W.

The functionalities available in J2W will be those indicated on the Site and its functionality will be that described on such Site.

2.3 Access to the solution.

J2W requires that you use your own user account (the “User Account”) in order to use the system, Services and Products. By accessing only your user account, you agree to submit accurate, current and complete information about yourself and to keep such information up to date. J2W reserves the right to suspend or terminate any User Account that is reasonably suspected of containing false, inaccurate, not current or incomplete information. Once you accept these Terms of Use and J2W has accepted the registration of your user account, your user account will be established. All activities conducted from the User Account will be attributable to the person to whom such account has been linked.

You must choose a personal and non-transferable password, therefore, all activities conducted from the User Account will be attributable to the person to whom such account has been linked; in this sense, user accounts cannot be “shared” or used by more than one person. You are solely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your User Account (including any consequences of using or posting User Content on or in connection with J2W), whether or not you have authorized such use. You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user account. J2W is not responsible for any damage caused by or related to theft or misappropriation of your User Account and User Content. However, you may be liable for losses incurred by J2W due to misappropriation and misuse of your User Account.

2.4 Use of the platform.

The User may make use of the Platform in accordance with the contracted modules; therefore, it is his/her responsibility that the use of this is made in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Use and the applicable regulations on the use of the Platform.

The User can upload data, information, material and documents to store them in his/her User Account (the “User Content”), accepting that it is the user’s responsibility to have the corresponding authorizations for their treatment, in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The User does not have the right to use the Content posted or shared on the Platform by other users in any way. The User also acknowledges and agrees that J2W has no responsibility of any kind in the event that any person to whom he/she has allowed access to his/her User Content, derived from the provision of services of the Platform, modifies, destroys, corrupts, copies or distributes his/her user content.

User agrees and understands that J2W shall have the right, but not the obligation, solely at its own discretion, to filter, monitor and/or edit any User Content, to reject, remove or disable access to User Content that may be illegal or may violate these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time and for any reason, with or without notice.

The User is solely responsible for protecting the information on his/her computer or other devices, for example, by installing antivirus software, updating applications, password-protecting files and preventing third party access to his/her computer. The User understands that User Content of other users may be corrupted by viruses, software malfunctions or other causes. The User agrees and understands that J2W is not responsible for any damages that may be incurred by any User by sharing and using such corrupt User Content.

The User owns all rights to User Content, including the full power to legally use, publish, transfer or license such User Content. The User acknowledges that the User Content is (and will remain) true, current, accurate, does not infringe any third-party rights and it is in no way illegal for him/her to possess, post, transmit or display in the country in which he/she is located or where its end users reside.

2.5 Tools for the operation of the Platform.

In the event that J2W requires the incorporation of other external tools or technologies, such integration will attend to the security considerations established by the owner of such tool or technology and J2W and the use of these is subject to the Terms and Conditions of use of each tool or technology.

J2W is not responsible for any failure, malfunction, violation of third-party tools or technologies.

2.6 Support.

In case of failures in the use of the Platform, the User must raise a technical support ticket within the J2W Platform. The Provider will remotely provide support and maintenance to the User through the mechanisms that are made available to the User. The service will be provided during business hours, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Mexico time), except for non-business days marked by local legislation and/or those that J2W notifies the User.

The service levels will be governed by those agreed between the parties in the instrument in which the contracting and provision of the service is formalized.

3. Contact section.

The mechanisms through which Users can contact J2W are published on the Site, such mechanisms are operated and managed by J2W, according to the schedule indicated in point 2.5.

In the event that the User selects the contact mechanism through forms made available for such purpose, the registration of information in such form is governed by the provisions of the Privacy Notice published on the Site; likewise, the data that the User enters must correspond to his/her own information, or in case of registering data of another person, he/she must have the authorization for the registration, which constitutes a transfer of personal data, in which the User acquires the character of Transfer Responsible Person.

4. Intellectual property of the Site and the Platform.

As far as Copyright is concerned, unless the content is attributed to a specific author or is in the public domain, all content hosted or made available on the Site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons , images, audio clips, digital downloads and data compilations are the property of J2W and are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. 

Regarding the Trademarks, the registered trademarks and trade image of J2W may not be used without the prior written authorization of the owner, nor may they be used in any way that is likely to cause confusion among users or that may disparage or discredit its owner.

The User undertakes not to publish, reproduce, duplicate, sell, alienate or exploit for any purpose, all or any portion of the services or content of J2W under any circumstance.

It is forbidden to copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, transmit, broadcast, or in any way exploit all or any part of the information contained in the Site without the prior written authorization from ARCH.

The User does not need to request permission to use a link to the Site, only if this link takes him to in a separate window, and where the URL is clearly visible.

In the event that any User or a third party considers that any of the content found or entered on the Site violates their intellectual property rights, they must notify J2W by sending an email to and based on said notification we will contact the applicant to attend to the requirement in question.

5. Personal data protection.

Regarding the protection of personal data, what is indicated in the J2W Privacy Notice published on the Site, in the Privacy Notice section, will apply.

It should be noted that J2W is Responsible for the personal data referring to the Administrators and Users of the Platform; however, regarding the personal data entered in the Platform by its Users, such Users must ensure that the treatment they conduct adheres to compliance with the applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data.

6. Final provisions.

6.1 Duration and termination.

The Site and the Contents have an indefinite duration. However, J2W may terminate, suspend or interrupt the Site and/or any of the Contents at any time and without prior notice.

The User accepts that J2W, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, may terminate or suspend the use of part of the services for any cause or reason, for which he/she acknowledges that J2W will not be liable to the User or to third parties for such termination or suspension.

In the event that the Site is not available, J2W will indicate said unavailability and, if possible, could indicate the reason why the Site is not available.

6.2 Exclusion of guarantees and responsibilities.

Exclusion of guarantees and responsibility for the operation of the Site and the Contents, viruses and other harmful elements. J2W does not control and does not guarantee the absence of viruses in the Contents, nor the absence of other elements in the Contents that may cause alterations in the User’s computer system (software and/or hardware) or in the electronic documents and files stored in his/her computer system.

J2W makes every effort to ensure that its website works correctly and without failure, and that the information published is the most truthful and useful for its users. However, J2W assumes no responsibility for the information provided on the page, including, but not limited to products and/or services, notes of interest, advice, tips and frequently asked questions. Likewise, it does not assume any responsibility for the impossibility of, or for problems in, the use of the website or any of the pages that comprise it.

6.3 Form.

The User accepts that a printed version of these Terms and Conditions of Use, and of any communication sent and/or received electronically, will be admissible as evidence in any judicial and/or administrative proceeding.

6.4 Modifications.

J2W reserves the right to unilaterally modify the content and services provided through this Site without prior notice. For clarity, J2W will include the date this document was last updated. Consequently, all operations, services, transactions conducted after the modification of these Terms and Conditions of Use will be governed by the new text. It is the User’s responsibility to regularly consult the Terms and Conditions of Use published on this Site. The terms of this instrument may not be altered, supplemented or amended by means of any other document.

6.5 Assignment.

J2W may, without authorization from the User, assign the rights and obligations contained in these Terms and Conditions of Use to any third party. 

6.6 Unenforceable provisions.

In the event that any of the Terms and Conditions of Use expressed herein is considered non-enforceable or declared null or invalid in accordance with the applicable legislation, it will be replaced by a term or condition that is valid and that can more rigorously comply with the purpose of the unenforceable provision or that has been declared null or invalid. All other terms and conditions remain in full force.

6.7 Applicable law and jurisdiction.

In everything related to the interpretation and compliance with the provisions herein, by the mere fact of accessing the Site, Users agree to submit to current legislation in accordance with the territorial jurisdiction in which the service provider is located, as indicated in the first paragraph of this instrument, waiving any other jurisdiction that, due to their present or future domiciles or for any other reason may correspond to them.

6.8 Rights.

Any right that has not been expressly conferred in this instrument is understood to be reserved to J2W.
